A Nutrition-Powered Journey to a New You

About me

Welcome to Whole Food Whole Life!

I’m Regina Butler, your enthusiastic guide

on the journey to reclaiming your physical health

and holistic wellbeing.

As a Master Integrative Nutritionist-In-Training with a background in Psychology and Addictions Counseling, my philosophy couldn’t be more simple: your body is your precious and very capable hardware,

and your psyche and mind are your very own unique operating system.

They are intricately connected, synergistically creating a fascinating balance that underpins

your all-around lifelong optimal functioning.

Your hardware and operation system working in sync together empower you to run a myriad of programs -or apps- limited only by your desires, each paving the way for the most fulfilling and amazing life you can envision and dream about.

Yet, no matter your what your aspirations, dreams, and life missions may be, it all will have to begin with fine-tuning your body, so that it can function at optimum, ready to serve you at its highest capacity –– and without the fear of it malfunctioning.

This will, in turn, inevitably enable your mind to shine and spirit to soar, fueling all those accomplishments you aim for.

And, that, Dear Reader, is our exact mission here.

My Background

From my early childhood in East Europe growing behind up the Iron Curtain, I encountered physical, mental, and spiritual limitations that were no doubt designed to confine one’s entire existence into a controlled and restricted life experience.
I believe that witnessing this firsthand during my young and formative years has greatly affected me, inspiring me to rebel and push back on those limitations -whether real or perceived- to make room for something more authentic

and transformative in our lives, individually and collectively as a society.

This goal -whether consciously or unconsciously- has always been my guiding star, from the times in Hungary when I became as special needs children’s educator (who wouldn’t want to give more fulfilling life experiences to those beautiful souls, while removing as many of their obstacles as possible?), through the times when I threw myself into coding

and designing websites 20-plus years ago (broad-scale internet was the shiny new thing with oh-so-many new opportunities to broaden one’s horizons and explore the world in ways like never before!)

These opportunities of growth (often wrapped in extremely challenging situations!) never ceased.
After moving to the United States, becoming the mother of 4 amazing kids pushed my limits to beyond what I thought was humanly possible – and most of these years were spent in rural Interior Alaska, very near the Arctic Circle, no less!

Ever-increasingly motivated to understand and connect

the puzzle pieces that could rewrite our own programs to experience the difference between merely “existing”

and joyfully “thriving”,I began to officially explore

my deep interest in psychology.

As an addiction counselor, my knowledge was solidified about the need to upgrade our neural connections and belief systems in order to experience meaningful breakthroughs in the trajectories

we often like to refer to as “fate”.

At the same time, my ongoing, serious struggles with my physical health urged me to turn my attention to the amazing physical “containers” that our bodies are, those which could enable -or indeed, incapacitate- us, inadvertently robbing us from experiencing our lives to the fullest,

and from the very fulfillment of our dreams.
It was also my very own Clarion call for change: the time to honestly face my very own food addictions had arrived.

Needless to say, nutrition and integrative health are where these deep explorations inevitably led me, which I have embraced first as an all-consuming personal interest, and then, as a freelance health writer shortly thereafter.
Over these years, I became a certified aromatherapist and began exploring the wonderful world of herbalism, as well.

As a Masters of Science student in Integrative Nutrition, I can’t wait to graduate and earn my CNS

(Certified Nutrition Specialist) certification, so that I can begin supporting your transformative physical

and holistic journey back into wholeness – the way you define it for yourself.

In my free time, aside from putting my deep interest in nutrition and mindfulness in practice, you are likely to find me at the beach. Soaking up sunshine and swimming, directly immersed in “Vitamin Sea” are the backbone of my mental

and physical wellbeing.

I have a profound love of traveling and exploring;I have lived on two continents, from one of Earth’s coldest climate,

all the way to the tropics. I must confess though: I have a permanent and specific fondness for the Mediterranean,

above all, Greece, where I have also spent several amazing years by now.

At this time, I reside in sunny rural Central Florida.
